GRP Pipe's Joint Lamination and Maintenance

The lamination connection is the classic way of joining GRP parts together. Here the surface is roughened, and the resin-impregnated glass mats and fiber clot are applied according to the specifications. After the desired wall thickness has been achieved, the Lamination is allowed to dry and cure, and the connection can be immediately charged.

The glass fibers that are often used in GRP lamination are mostly made up of rovings and bunched strands of glass filaments. The rovings are pressed into the mat or woven into fabrics of varying densities; density is measured in weight, ounces per square foot, or grams per square meter of fabric. The fabric weight, together with the forming method to be used, determines the quantity of resin that will be needed.

Jazeera piping products are specially designed for the chemical processing industry; the main advantage is immediate availability and quick installation by bonding the components together.
